Meg Jenkins Locke!

Carolina Moon Hospitality (Highland Avenue Restaurant, The Crossing at Hollar Mill, Groucho's Deli of Hickory, Groucho's Deli of Rock Hill, and Music In The Mill) is enormously proud of Meg Jenkins Locke, Chief Engagement Officer. Meg is a featured speaker for the prestigious Alex Lee Leadership Lecture Series at Lenoir-Rhyne University,  and will deliver her presentation on March 1, 2017 at 6pm.

The Alex Lee Leadership Lecture Series offers a unique opportunity to attend MBA level lectures and to learn from influential professionals both locally and nationally. The series is designed to help participants understand the dynamics of leadership and identify their own administrative traits and capabilities.

 All presentations are scheduled for Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in the Fintel Room of the McCrorie Center. All events are free and open to the public; no tickets or reservations are required.


Southern Spring Home & Garden Show

The Crossing at Hollar Mill is extremely proud of our Event Director, Candace Tait, and her upcoming graduation from the Leadership Catawba program on March 9, 2017! More from Leadership Catawba: 42 years and running, Leadership Catawba has educated and equipped hundereds of Catawba County residents about the critical issues facing our community.  This program challenges each participant to be an effective and influential leader, not only within their own organizations, but also within the greater community through personal commitment and involvement.


Highland Avenue Supports ProStart

Highland Avenue's Executive Chef Sam Stachon is pleased to host a Guest Chef Workshop at the annual North Carolina ProStart Invitational hosted in Raleigh, NC on March 17-18, 2017. The North Carolina ProStart invitational (NCPI) is a two-day secondary school competition focused on restaurant management and culinary arts. Student competitors put their skills to the test in front of industry leaders, family and friends, all with hopes of earning a coveted scholarship from one of the nation’s premier culinary and restaurant management programs.
